Flegg High Ormiston Academy

Wellbeing

Whilst schools are closed, Audible the online audiobook provider is making audiobooks available to students for free (as opposed to the £7.99 monthly charge). Books can be found at https://stories.audible.com/start-listen

Our English department have recommended the following reading lists which have been split into key stages:

KS3:
 White Fang
 The Jungle Book
 Robinson Crusoe
 Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
 The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood
 The Secret Garden
KS4:
 Jane Eyre
 Frankenstein
 Romeo & Juliet
 Wuthering Heights
 Curious Case of Benjamin Button
 Moby Dick

These are a great way for students to dive into some literature and reading is always a valuable wellbeing tool so we really encourage all students to engage with this fantastic offering.
